Maybe the way I explain things. When I watched that tv show, it sounded so real because they even brought it up the old clips of the person who killed Kennedy, and when he shot him, two of the guys sitting in front seat said"you had almost got us killed too" and when Kennedy was on parade, they were supposed to have guards but on that day, there were no guards and even the car was moving slower than the usual.

It's becoming really distorted.
Most celebrities that are praised for their 'great bodies' these days have little to no shape what so ever, and being that size is easily attainable, if you don't eat for a week.
I've heard people say Marilyn Monroe was fat

All these women have in my opinion, beautiful bodies
Any woman with a little meat in the right place is automatically a role model for LARGE women, it's offensive - There is quite a significant difference between the size of the ladies I mentioned above and the people that they're meant to be role models for.. Just because they're not on the brink of starvation DOES not mean that they should be used in order to make morbidly fat people feel better about themselves!
I think it's ridiculous, it's so black and white these days - you're either emaciated and hot or fat and repulsive.
What happened to the hourglass figure being attractive?
I just really want to know what's happened here, because surely the features men find attractive on us indicate our fertility (like wide hips, large breasts with a small waist etc.) that makes perfect sense! But today - the new thing seems to be looking like a prepubescent child, I know that there are strong ties between beauty & youth but c'mon guys, this is borderline paedophilia.
Plus I've heard from several sources that the body fat percentage most be over 18% in order to conceive and to have regular menstrual cycles, so why is it this is slowly becoming undesirable?

Thank you for your answers so far, some very interesting theories, I want your opinion - are you men as easily fooled by the media into thinking underweight women are more attractive than those of a healthy weight? It just baffles me that what we perceive to be attractive was influenced by biology and basic instinct - but the TV is taking over, the mind is destroying the body - we are controlled by the media.
I for one will not change for the sake of this seasons new f*cking thing..

Tendrils dangled in front of my cat-like, olive eyes as I placed a clip at the crown of my hair. The magenta bottle of hairspray was bitterly frigid as I gently grasped onto it. Mine has this awesome mural done by a bunch of students probably from at least 20 years ago and it's of U2's Rattle, and Hum album. Also in the cafeteria we've got a Beatles Yellow Submarine one, and one with a bunch of music legends and hollywood figures on it like Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Marilyn Monroe. The rest are weird looking.

I love Marilyn Monroe but i think she should be a lot lower. Maybe in the twenties, because i think she is a pretty good actress, but overrated because of her looks. Paul Newman and Richard Burton deserve to be there. I think they were both a few years too late to be considered for the list though.
